Today I am guiding you step by step on how to work out the answer, following rules are important while writing Bach chorale: Bach chorales are a type of four-part harmony that follow specific rules and guidelines. Here are some of the rules to keep in mind when writing a Bach chorale composition in SATB (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) format: Each voice (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) should be independent and have a clear melodic line. -The harmony should be based on the chord progression of the key of the chorale. -The melody should be primarily stepwise, with occasional leaps. -The bass line should move primarily in stepwise motion and should outline the harmonic progression. -The alto and tenor lines should move in a similar fashion to the melody, and should not cross over or clash with each other. -Chords should be spaced in a way that allows each voice to have a clear and independent melodic line.Avoid parallel fifths and octaves between any two voices. -Avoid large jumps or leaps in the melody, which can disrupt the harmonic progression and create a dissonant sound. -The composition should be in four-part harmony, with each voice contributing to the overall sound of the piece.
