Behind the Material: Le Tissage SA Factory Tour – 2TEC2 x Limited Edition Rugs

Together with a group of Material Bank® Europe members, we recently visited Le Tissage SA, the parent company of our brand partners 2TEC2 woven flooring and Limited Edition rugs. The visit provided valuable insight into the production processes behind these two premium Belgian brands, both recognised for their innovation, precision, and craftsmanship in flooring and rugs. Led by Ambre Hanet, Architect and Design Specification Consultant at 2TEC2, our members toured the factory in Mouscron, Belgium, where they were introduced to each stage of manufacturing — from the initial concept to the finished product. In addition to exploring the production facilities, the day also offered an excellent platform for professional exchange and networking, reinforcing connections within the design community.
