In this video, I go over a medicine that has slowly become relegated to the days of yesterday. What was once so common, almost every household knew about it and made it. Now, the information is slowly falling into obscurity. Hopefully, this video, can help us remember or at least not forget, the importance of this abundant resource. Just remember, not all evergreen sap is the same. While pines are generally considered safe, cedars are actually mildly toxic and can flare up asthma issues if inhaled. In this video, I used a southern yellow pine resin, also known as loblolly pine, which is very common in the southeast.
