Sometimes when you’re topping out a tree, the question always comes afterward — could I have gone bigger? On this cut, I played it a little on the safe side and sent the top the size I felt comfortable with in the moment. Looking back, it’s one of those situations where you start thinking you might have been able to push it a bit more.
