It's that time again, the new Stygian is here and it's mostly pretty fun and for the first time Fremi is actually in the main video and honestly the strongest character I have on my account for this boss (My Gaming build just isn't strong enough apparently!) So the Baptist is the worst boss in this Stygian by a long way for me, a really blatant Nefer and Skirk shill boss, the sooner the Dendro shill ends the better IMO. So for this team I needed some hydro for the the pyro shield and either some Dendro, or a good amount of Cryo for the hydro shield. Why this team specifically? It's far from optimal but my Furina was locked to my Freminet unfortunately, but part of Genshin's endgame challenge is putting the pieces of the puzzle together so that you can clear with the characters you have available to you. So I ideally needed some more damage and extra buffing, which is where my C2 Durin comes in since he does both. In fact, in my very first clear, my Durin actually outdamaged Neuvillette, unfortunately though, this team has a lot of Cryo so you can encounter the age old vape-melt aura problem here, and Durin can miss out on a lot of vapes if the aura's don't align nicely, but even without, his unreacted hits still do a lot of damage... not to mention that his C2 is a 50% damage buff to Neuvillette and Escoffier's damage. Overall despite me saying this is the wort of the 3 bosses I think it's actaully not too bad, it just frustrates me a little that I had to use Durin here, since I really wanted to use him and Lyney together on the 2nd boss... The Iktomisaur is an interesting idea for a boss, like I just said, I am a little annoyed I didn't get use Durin here... but honestly Lyney didn't need the help as much as team 1 did. I do like that they are trying to find a way to make Venti actually feel good in endgame content again, but I feel like there could just be better ways to do it. Even with Lyney this boss is a little annoying since you can't always hit it with his skill or burst so you are sometimes just stood there waiting for it to come down but this boss doesn't have too much HP so it's not too bad. The team itself is just a mono-pyro team, using Venti as res shred and Chevreuse to help fill out Lyney's A4 and weapon passive as well as being a generic dmg% buffer via her C6 rather than using a sub DPS like Xiangling (who would be pretty useless here anyway I imagine since the Iktomisaur is always moving so high.) This is the the fun one to be honest, I feel like the atk buff gives a lot of room for some creativity, but because it is so obviously designed around plunge, it works out that this Fremi team is actually the best team on my account for it lol. Fremi already has an incredibly high plunge multiplier, and something he usually lacks in his team is a good atk buff, so the 600% atk buff is really nice here, 200-250k physical plunges is really nice, and because it's physical damage, you don't have to hang around waiting for elemental application so you really can just spam them out. Hope everyone found this one okay, I'm personally a lot happier now having an endgame mode without that darned crab!!
