f(x) has, in my opinion, one of the most unique and excellent discographes in kpop. their final 3 lps are among my favourite kpop albums of all time, and their music is honestly timeless to me. i'm sad they never properly got the recognition they deserved. that being said, here is my personal ranking of the group's korean discography, hope you enjoy! if you want a brief history of f(x), read below: f(x) was a 2nd generation girl group under sm entertainment with 5 members - victoria, luna, amber, sulli and krystal. they debuted as the sister group of girls' generation in 2009, with the single 'la cha tta'. the group had a stable fanbase throughout their career, and the members themselves were well known in the public eye - particularly members like krystal, who is the sister of former snsd member jessica, and sulli, who was a child actress before debut. unfortunately, the group was often overshadowed by other sm artists, as it became clear that the company didn't afford them as much attention as their other groups. However, f(x) maintained a solid release schedule up until 2016, even after member sulli went on indefinite hiatus in 2015, eventually departing the group. although the group has not officially disbanded, several members have now left sm entertainment to pursue solo careers, so it seems unlikely the group will continue activities together, although a reunion is not entirely impossible. as for what the former members are doing now: victoria has returned to her homeland china to continue working in the entertainment industry. both amber and luna have both continued releasing music as soloists, with luna also participating in musicals. krystal is now focused on acting and has been in quite a few hit dramas. sulli continued with acting and modelling but tragically passed away in october 2019, but her memory lives on. ~subscribe for more content like this!~
