Xone:K2 - Application Example: Single Setup - Xone:DB Series Mixer [Text to accompany video Tutorial] With a Xone:DB series mixer you can use the X:LINK system to save a USB port on your computer. X:LINK provides power and data transfer between the DB mixer and the K2. Make sure your DB mixer is connected to your laptop with a USB cable. On your K2, Connect the X:LINK out socket, to the X:LINK socket on your DB mixer - using the RJ45 cable provided. In your software the K2 will not be seen as a device in its own right, as it's connected through your DB mixer. To get control from the K2 into your software, you must enable the DB mixer as a MIDI device. By default your K2 will be set to channel 15, and the DB mixer transmits on channel 16 - so there will be no MIDI clashes between the two devices. ****Traktor Pro (Mac) Setup & Importing Maps: From the preferences window in Traktor, on Audio Setup notice the audio device is set to Allen&Heath Xone:DB series.
