The 77th Republic Day of India was celebrated with great pride, dignity, and patriotic spirit at Jamia Islamia Ishaatul Uloom, Akalkuwa — one of the country’s most respected religious and modern educational institutions. The grand ceremony took place in the open ground between Dar-ul-Quran and Vastanvi Dining Hall, where thousands of students, teachers, and distinguished guests gathered. The National Flag was hoisted by Rais-ul-Jamia, Maulana Huzefa Ghulam Mohammad Vastanvi, followed by the National Anthem, filling the entire campus with the spirit of unity and nationalism. Despite the cold January morning, the enthusiasm of the students and staff reflected their deep love for the nation. The program began with Qur’an recitation, presented uniquely along with Urdu and Marathi translations, highlighting the message of harmony and understanding. This was followed by a soulful Naat by student Zakaullah. Students Mohammad Tabish Madhubani and his team paid tribute to India’s freedom fighters through a beautiful patriotic song. Class IV student Ghufran Shah Jahanpuri delivered an impressive speech in Hindi, explaining the meaning and importance of democracy and Republic Day. A special highlight was a student dialogue on the Constitution of India, making complex ideas simple and meaningful. One of the most memorable moments was the Marathi poetic translation of Allama Iqbal’s famous poem “Sare Jahan Se Accha Hindustan Hamara”, performed melodiously by the students. An inspiring English speech, prepared under the guidance of Maulana Hassan, demonstrated that madrasa students are equally capable of mastering modern languages. The emotional peak of the program came with a performance by young children singing “Hindustan Hamara Hai”, accompanied by powerful actions depicting freedom fighters, India’s military strength, and the spirit of national heroes like the Missile Man of India. The ceremony concluded with a powerful address by Rais-ul-Jamia, emphasizing the importance of the Constitution, unity, and national harmony, followed by a heartfelt prayer. This celebration beautifully showcased how faith, education, and patriotism can walk together, inspiring the next generation to serve the nation with pride. 🇮🇳 Jai Hind!
