Join this channel to get access to perks:    / @shanesimpsonhunting   I roosted this gobbler by first getting him to sound off, then carefully moving until a nearby telephone pole lined up directly with the direction of his gobbles. Using the onX Hunt app, I dropped a pin at my location and another at the telephone pole, which I could clearly see on the satellite imagery. Extending that line to where it intersected the ridge allowed me to confidently pinpoint the gobbler’s roost location. The next morning, I slipped in tight and waited quietly for him to pitch down at sunrise. I didn’t make a call until his feet hit the ground, then used soft calling to coax him into gun range.
