ASMR Palette Knife Painting: Autumn Harbor with Lobster Boat (Soft Spoken, 3 Hours)

Relaxing Palette Knife Painting ASMR: Watch as I create a vibrant painting of a harbor with a lobster boat in the autumn using oil paint, palette knife, and a little bit of brushing. Enjoy the painting session with headphones to hear the drawing sounds and palette knife scraping, scratching, and mixing on canvas. For this painting, I experimented with using a similar technique to my previous harbor painting, on canvas instead of a board. I am practicing drawing and painting directly without roughing in shapes and working in small focused areas around the image. I fill the large areas of sky and water in last with expressive textures in oil and wax medium. The composition of this picture was also a little experimental, framing the view with close historic buildings, viewed through an alleyway. Overall I think the canvas gives a fuzzier look than the board and may be better suited to my previous, more layered style of working.
