MP Bishnu Pada Ray Calls to Halt Deemed University Move, Seeks Central University

MP Bishnu Pada Ray said existing students in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands will continue under Pondicherry University affiliation and receive degrees as before. He reiterated his demand to halt the deemed university process and establish a Central University instead. The MP said he raised the issue with Dharmendra Pradhan amid student protests.
