Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s annual spring conference Making Brooklyn Bloom never disappoints, and Isabella's Lichen tour was the standout presentation. I spotted her Casio Watch while mic'g her up. Uh Oh Casio is a Documentary Film about Casio Watches. I have been wearing a Casio watch since the late 70s, and with the exception of wearing an Abbey Road Record Distribution 25th Anniversary watch given to me, because I was a very large customer, for a few years, I've worn one every day. I started seeing more and more people wearing them again in the late 90s. I've always been a trendsetter. I started asking people if I could photograph theirs in the early 00s and now ask them if I can film them. The story will continue. These Watches will used for the Documentary Film entitled, Uh Oh Casio - The history and resurgence in popularity of Casio Watches - https://www.uhohcasio.com/ These are not planned shots as I just find them in my travels. Some of them are very hard to capture, like the great calculator one in the glaring Sun. It's also a warm weather film as it's hard to see what watch people are wearing during the colder months being covered up by clothing.
