Editing error; reupload On Monday, October 6, 2025, the city of Angleton conducted a monthly test of their outdoor warning system. The test consisted of a 30 second alert and wail. I wanted to go to Angleton for quite a bit now and happened to have time today, now that I have a car. Forgot my tripod though. My friends Lucian and Will met up here and the system fired up right at noon. The Darley didn't go, but the shot was worth it. First Monday at Noon, Central Time How long are sirens activated and what signal? Sirens test for 30 seconds of alert and wail. Alert is used for tornadoes while wail is for severe storms, both will be activated for 3 minutes in either emergency. What are these sirens used for? Chemical emergencies, weather alerts, etc.
