Edit 8/8/13: MrWeables beat this run with a 1:37:40 run that can be seen here:   / 2717663   The luck in this run was so good that I doubt this will be beaten easily. The strategy is fairly simple: Get an early bank by completing the Hall of Trials on day 2 and Jade Way after level 4 Merchant (in order to buy a Steel Sword and some good armor for Louie), then use Pin bonuses and combos to level my Merchant level to 18 as quickly as possible. Along the way I buy red (high-value) items from the guild and market and flip them for large amounts of quick money, and when I reach level 18, I have access to the highest level of items from the guild. Luckily, when these were available, weapons were high-valued and I was able to make 40k-50k per sale, quickly collecting enough money to pay off the debt.
