I had some problems uploading this, but was able to edit it and now it’s working. I was conducting a 4 hour behavioral therapy session and had this in my jacket pocket (it’s getting cold in Chicago), and as I was leaving and going for my keys I found this mess. I figured I’d post this because I’ve gotten some small interest in people wanting me to post unfiltered reviews of many of the devices I’ve been using in the past 10 weeks I’ve been cigarette free (I’ve bought a lot.) Disclaimer because of the thumbs downs: I’m a design professor and a behavioral therapist. I’m not a reviewer, I’m never going to have thousands of subscribers or views on my channel, I don’t have a kick-ass camera or studio, and I don’t care about showing boxes, instruction manuals, or how to prime and put a coil in a device. If you want that kind of a review, there’s plenty of them out there and I’m writing this so I don’t wast your time. With that said: I really liked the Nord X when I got it (I think it’s actually been 3 weeks to a month ago.) The RPM2 coils especially produce really good flavor and a dense vapor that I really seem to crave. I usually would tape off one side of airflow or use my thumb to do so and I was mostly satisfied with the device in the sense that I still wanted to find a better one, but it was enough to keep me off cigarettes for the time I had it. Pros: 7.5-8/10 flavor with RPM 2 Coils, Good battery life @ 25 watts, Type C fast charging, overall profile and fit in the hand, water-dust-shock proof Cons: Not draw activated like the Novo, mouthpiece takes some getting used to, not enough airflow control to get a tighter MTL draw that I need to emulate smoking, and finally the LEAKS. To be fair, the leaking I showed in the video is a new problem and I do have an RPM pod that has not leaked like that (I also don’t like it as much). However, leaking has been an issue since I began using this device. It leaked a little most days but nothing like this.
