After waiting for several storms to dissipate we finally made it offshore around 40 miles or so to fish some natural bottom that I've never tried before. While the guys were busy jigging I was dropping live baits down and catching some nice fish, one being the new Alabama state record Graysby Grouper! At the time we wasn't aware that this fish was a potential record because of how small it was but after getting back to the house and doing some research this was actually a very big one of this species!
