How we construct pole-hammers

Today we take a look at the construction details of Arms and Armor pole-arms, specifically pole-hammers and pole-axes. Using a not-yet-assembled Italian Pole-hammer we examine the various parts of the weapon, how they are put together and mounted on a pole. We also talk about how mounting was done historically. Sword blades are hand ground of 6150 carbon steel, hardened and tempered to 50-52 Rockwell. Arms & Armor is dedicated to quality and authenticity.
