Hey guys back again with another Spawn review! This time checking out the Plague Spawn! Recently introduced with all the other Hellspawn, Plague Spawns history reaches far back into the first ever Symbiote created from the remains of the body of the first Hellspawn. As a fairly new character, his story is still being fleshed out, and only time will tell how big of a impact this character will have. The figure comes with a pair of changeable hands, and a mini diorama base, filled with skulls and spikes. One thing that confuses me a bit, is how the comic appearance has a smooth texture to the suit, while the action figure looks to have rough texture to the suit, almost as if he's been burned to a crisp. The figure comes with some amazing sculpting, including that crispy texture all over the body, as well as the iconic spawn stripes, only these are carved into the skin, showing the red flesh underneath. For a new small time character, the figure itself makes a great demonic villain, and pairs up well with other series, especially in the McFarlane scale. Overall a great figure, a slim body with some nice range, although the forward bending articulation is minimal, something that this figure could have benefited from, for some crawling poses.
