DIY Macrame Wall Hanging Sunflower Using Name Board | Macrame Wall Hanging Tutorial Hi Macrame Lovers, Some time ago, I created a Trini ID name board. In this tutorial I will decorate it with macrame wall hanging to make it more beautiful. I intend to make a macrame wall hanging with a simple but elegant design and of course there are sunflowers as the hallmark of Trini ID. I'll add some tassels for a bohemian look. Timestamp : 00:35 STAGE 1: MAKING THE BODY PART OF THE WALL HANGING 21:36 STAGE 2: MAKING THE TASSEL The materials that need to be prepared to make this wall hanging are as follows: 1. Name Board size 40 cm x 10 cm (if you don't have one, you can replace it with wooden dowels) 2. Cotton rope 3 ply thickness 4 mm Wall hanging body parts: 24 threads x 400 cm For the tassel, I used the leftover rope from the wall hanging body. Strap size for 4 tassels: 4 x 50 cm 32 x 30 cm 1 x 50 cm (for gathering knots), use a 2 mm rope Total rope used is 96 meters 3. Wooden Beads 1.5 cm x 16 pcs 4. Scissors 5. Comb 6. Sunflower flower diameter 10 cm (you can replace it with other applications you like) The final size of this macrame wall hanging sunflower is 40 cm wide and 80 cm long Overall, the knots I use are as follows: Lark's Head Knot, Square Knot, Double Half Hitch Knot, Vertical Lark's Head Knot, Endless Falls Knot and gathering knots.
