Vanguard ETFs In Australia in 2025 | EVERYTHING You Need To Know

Vanguard is one of the largest asset managers in the world with US$9.3T in global assets under management. In Australia they are the largest issuer of ETFs and managed funds, a popular investment mechanism for many people. It was founded by John C. Bogle who really invented index funds, and enabled millions of people to invest in a low-cost vehicle that tracks a basket of securities. Over AU$190B is invested in Australian ETFs. In Q1 2024, this grew by AU$5.3B, showing the total ETF assets under management are growing by over 10% annually. Vanguard captures a roughly 28.9% market share in Australia with over AU$55B under management. The next highest are Betashares and iShares with roughly AU$28B and AU$27B under management respectively. So Vanguard is well ahead with their 29 ETFs issued in the Australian market. Whoops!
