In H.o.T you will be able to play as modern Sonic, classic Sonic and Boom Sonic, all having smooth and unique animations. Sonic Mania Plus adds Mr Needlemouse and King Sonic as well! What this mod changes in Mania: *Modern Sonic replaces Sonic. *Classic Sonic replaces Knuckles. *Boom Sonic replaces Tails. *King Sonic with a sword replaces Mighty. *Mr. Needlemouse replaces Ray. *All music is changed, including Encore Mode. *Shadow replaces Metal Sonic. *The Hardboiled Heavies are replaced by the Hardboiled Hedgehogs. *And more! Mod related questions and answers: When's the next update? As the mod is nearly finished, there's not any set date. What does H.o.T stand for? Where did the mod originate from? H.o.T is short for Hedgehogs of Time, and the mod is based off of my old sprite hacks for Sonic 2 and Sonic 3, I called them Generations 2 and 3 respectively, which in turn where based off of Sonic Generations. I decided to go with a slightly more original name. Can I use parts of this mod for my own creations? You can use my not-so-great work for anything you want. If it's for a Sonic Mania mod, please ask for permission and give credit for the modified sprites. Understand that many tedious hours were put into the custom sprites. Just remember to credit other creators as well - you can find the credits at the side. Why isn't my favorite Sonic playable? Why are there some weird design choices? I just went with whatever I found fun to work on - probably some laziness is involved. Also making every Sonic in existance playable would take too much time. Are there any plans for new levels? I would love to make custom levels, but it would take a lot of time... so I'll see what happens with that. Any known bugs? The game will crash when triggering the Encore ending with all Chaos Emeralds being collected. No known fix as of now.
