SHATEISH - "If I Ever Needed Love" From The Re-Awakening EP Music Prod by Nottz Shateish.com Rawkoncept.com Shateish and Nottz decided to step into the past on this EP to bring back a Unforgotten legend Ruby Johnson sound, who’s music never received the attention it deserved in the late 60s and 70's, Johnson was a fervent R&B singer from the North Carolina/Virginia border, But her labels in-house producers was unable to achieve a breakout hit single to match Johnson’s supreme vocal talents during the rise of the soul era which ultimately led to her release from the labels roster. Shateish feels in her heart that Johnson unfinished sound deserved to be heard and highly respected. Therefore Shateish has decided to dedicated “The Re-Awakening EP” to the late Ruby Johnson.
