This TEDx Talk is about the important, but often taboo, topic of engaging men in conversations around sexual violence to help build a culture of consent to create change. Victoria Ramón is in her second year at Stetson and is self-defining their major through the Honors Program. She is studying Social Justice and Community Engagement with a minor in Spanish. On campus Victoria holds a variety of leadership positions, including being a Program Lead for the Peer Advisory Council on Title IX (P.A.C.T.) and the Director of Stetson Votes. She was awarded the Rising Star Award by the Wellness and Recreation department in May of 2022 and was awarded the Emerging Student Leader Award by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion in October of 2022. Although she has only been at Stetson for two years, Victoria has made an impact on campus and has solidified her role as an advocate for change, especially when it comes to supporting survivors. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
