I have grown up listening to and playing with sir R. D. Burman songs. I feel he really understood the importance of Bass Guitar as an instrument in bollywood music. His primary Bass Guitarist, Tony Vas sir was incredible in all RDB compositions. I am a huge fan of this genius. Here I tried covering my most favourite RDB track Janeja o meri Janeja. Few points to be noted : √ Original track is played with a pick 😄. I couldn't😢, so I played with fingers. Tone will never match due to this reason. √ There is some kind of effect also used for the solo bass lines. I played direct bass with no pedals, no amp. √ I have played over the original track as there are no backing track available without bass parts. √ My video editing software at home doesn't support more than 5 minutes video so I had to cut down the last antara 😥..
