(long version) Skills: Character Design, Modeling, Texturing, Shading, Rigging, Python Scripting, Animating and Rendering - so basically the whole pipeline Tools: Autodesk Maya, Mudbox Adobe Photoshop, After Effects Breakdown: Reel Breakdown: 0:00 - 0:45: creature Rig, academy project, to learn how to use maya muscle system on production rig. 0:45 - 1:05 nCloth influence setup, academy project to learn how to use nCloth in a character rig. 1:05 - 1:15 asset rigging, personal project, dynamically rig assets (i.e. gun holster) onto character rigs. 1:15 - 1:35 car rigging, academy project, focus on realtime automatic ground detection for wheel. 1:35 - 3:00 human rig, academy project, build a rig for a human character that preforms as acurate as possible while holding shape and volume on a variety of extreme and motion. Features: Smooth Ik/FK switch, several aditional and keyable volume and twist controls (i.e. bladebone, trapezius muscle, stomach volume, ribcage skin slide) multiple space switch parents for ik hand controls some automatically triggering corrective shapes (i.e. leg muscle volume, neck tendoms) On Face and separate Face UI controls work additive can be animated at the same time Lip Controls with cluster and curve influnece for maximum deformability stretchy spine with volume preservation dynamic polygon hair 3:00 - 4:00 python scripts: Mirror Controls Tool: Quickly mirror animation controls transforms from one to the other side without having to select both side controls. IK/FK Matching Tool One Click Transfrom Matching between IK and Fk Chains Pose Manager Tool Store character poses onto a list and save them to an external file, apply them across to other character rigs, works with referencing.
