This was the first speech of my life, and honestly… it was terrifying 😨. I was invited to a Government Higher Secondary School in Dimapur, Nagaland to speak to students during the celebration of Bharatiya Bhasha Utsav, many languages, one emotion. I was nervous, my speech wasn’t perfect, but the love, respect, and warmth from the teachers and the kids made this experience unforgettable. Standing in front of students from different linguistic backgrounds reminded me that language may change, but emotions, dreams, and hope are the same. If even one child felt inspired or believed a little more in themselves after listening to me, then I believe this moment was worth it.
