Today I'm swatching the newly released Rose Inc Lip Cream Longwearing Matte Liquid Lipstick with Squalane. I bought six of the shades to do lip swatches and hand swatches with. The shades are Kiss and Part, Dreamed You, Two Were One, Their Union, Mortal Flame and Red Red Rose. These are described as a whipped, pigment-rich liquid lipstick that delivers longwearing, transfer-resistant, buildable color with a smooth, diffused-matte finish. I talk you through my first impressions of the whipped texture, how buildable they are, I swatch them on my medium skin tone and I also talk about who I'd recommend these to. Are these interesting lipsticks to you? Will you be picking them up? WEAR TEST UPDATE: I wore Red Red Rose for the rest of the night, and had it on for a total of 4.5 hours. I ate dinner in that time and drank water. The lipstick was transferring on my straw, but I only saw real fading on the inner center of my lips. I was able to rub my lips together and fill in the areas that were looking faded/sparse. And that was the only time I had to do that. Even though it was transferring onto my straw throughout the night, I did find that the lipstick intensity and integrity stayed the same! Overall, I wouldn't say these are totally transfer proof, but I WOULD say they're long wearing because the formula kind of works with your lips.
