POSH Words in Old British Films!

Hello! Today we are talking about how to speak posh and RP in English, and is concentrating on posh words and accents in films and their modern English equivalents. If you've seen my other video on how to speak with a posh or conservative RP accent (link below) then you will understand that some ways of speaking are a bit...old-fashioned, right? So, how do you find out how people used to speak many years ago, and the kinds of words, phrases and accents they had? Through films of course. Now, after watching hours of old films, I have come up with a selection of words and phrases that were cool to use then, but not really today. The video is also divided up into sections: There is a mini-lesson on the requirements of being posh (what you need to be posh). There is an analysis of the posh words used in films with my faithful helper, Wilfred. There are also recommendations of films or TV shows old and new to watch to find great posh accents. Plus, included in this part is also some famous posh actors from the old days and present day that you could have a look at (and listen to!).
