Here is a basic and bare bones AR-15, a gold standard mil-spec Colt LE6920, and here I go through a step-by-step process of how to field strip/disassemble the rifle as well as how to reassemble the rifle. Hopefully this video will help those who are new to firearms or don't have a huge background in firearm ownership or culture who are likely new to the world and interested in getting involved. I know many, many young people who do not necessarily come from backgrounds or families of hunting or shooting sports are now starting to get into the firearms world, the 2nd amendment, and the AR-15 community. I've seen a lot of videos on youtube that go through the field strip process that are excellent, but maybe geared slightly more to those who are either familiar with the platform, have a lot of firearms background, or are more technical/mechanically minded... so for people like me (who have almost no mechanical skills beyond changing a light bulb), I tried to make this as simplistic and thorough as possible.
