The National Parks litter is doing so well! They are gaining so much strength and are so playful. They have completed their litter training which means they graduated from the enclosure to having free roam of the room. Their eyes are still in the gray area so we don't know what color they will be. But we hope to be able to tell within the coming week. Since the kittens have full roam of the room now, they are exploring absolutely everything! They have gained so much strength that they are climbing all over the reclining seat and taking naps all over it. They're also rough housing a lot more with their litter mates. Again, the rough housing is very important for their development. If they don't rough house with their litter mates, they can carry some of that aggression into their later years and could have some behavioral issues. With Mike's sister's cat Buddy, he gets a little aggressive when there's a lot of motion or sound going on. He can get overwhelmed and lash out. But that is at no fault of his own. He was found by Mike's sister when she was out for a walk. He was only a week to a couple of weeks old, so he never had the opportunity to play with his litter mates. If you have a trouble kitty that seems to lash out for no reason, please exercise patience with them. We decided to let them out of the enclosure when we felt their litter training was completed. They were climbing out of the enclosure, so we felt it was OK to let them out, even if they weren't fully litter trained yet. Lucky for us, they haven't had any accidents around the room. These kittens have progressed so quickly! Although they do still nurse with Gaia, which isn't necessarily a sign of regressing. They are still technically weaned, but they will still nurse out of familiarity, comfort, and bonding with mama. Their eyes are still gray so we should hopefully be able to tell what color their eyes will be in the coming week. If you're looking into getting a Maine Coon, ensure their eyes are green or gold. Those are the only two colors a Maine Coon's eyes should be unless the cat is white. After week 6, things will be pretty much the same except for watching them grow in size. #cat #toebeans #kitten #cute #mainecoon #pets #available #kittens #weekly #update #ethical #breeding #olympics #winterolympics #superbowl #files #heterochromia #badbunny #topsecret #ericdane #mcsteamy #als
