Don Hayes, MD, on the Lung and Heart-Lung Transplant Program at Nationwide Children's Hospital

Don Hayes, MD, joins Nationwide Children's Hospital as medical director for the Lung and Heart-Lung Transplant Program. Dr. Hayes brings to Nationwide Children's an interest and experience in supporting patients with severely advanced lung disease to lung transplant with artificial technology such as extracorporeal membrane oxygenation or ECMO. He will lead research efforts to further advance treatment of patients with severe lung disease. The Transplant Program at Nationwide Children's Hospital is comprised of Heart Transplant, Lung Transplant, Heart-Lung Transplant, Kidney Transplant and Blood and Marrow Transplant.
