Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

The Yakuza series is a game series that is very dear to my heart. Nowadays its known as Like a Dragon, but back in the day the Ryu Ga Gotoku studios also made a few side projects including a Fist of the North Star adaptation. This game is a standalone adventure that tells the tale of our hero Kenshiro as he finds his way into a city where life seemingly is good. We are looking for our lost fiancé and in order to find her we need to solve several quests, explore the wasteland and fight hundreds of bad guys. Just like with the Yakuza series there are plenty of things to see and do and minigames to complete. It feels a little less familiar since this is a fictional setting compared to the modern Tokyo setting of their more famous brother. Nevertheless its the fighting mechanics in this game that are way more fluent and fun to play and this is probably this studio's best fighting system in any of their released games. Its very much over the top, but incredibly fun and satisfying nonetheless. The pacing is also great with each chapter taking around an hour and overall the story, its twists and characters all had won me over in a matter of moments.
