The series was first introduce on the Nintendo Gamecube in 2001. Pikmin 4 (Switch) is, as the name suggests, the 4th entry in the series (not including spinoffs). Pikmin 4 (Switch) was officially announced in a Nintendo Direct in 2022, with a release date of July 21, 2023. The Pikmin 4 Demo was released on June 29. In the Pikmin games, you control a captain or character who has the ability to command and direct the activities of Pikmin, a strange species of plant-based life. Using the Pikmin, you can solve puzzles and fight enemies as you try to repair your ship and/or rescue your comrades. “Practice German with Pikmin 4” marks my first time playing a game in this series, but if they all are this good, I’ve been missing out!
