Let’s Make Resin-Paper! B'Sue Boutiques Have you ever made a resin paper? It's so easy and it's fun! In this video, we'll explore the careful mixing of two-part resin using the Ice Resin brand. Any two-part resin will do, but Ice tends to be my go-to and I know it will work well, so I use it! ;-) Also, Ice has nice tips you can put on top of the bottle to help you control the flow of resin and hardener into the mixing cup. Are you timid about using two-part resin? Hopefully, at the end of this video, you will feel ready to jump in and work with it. The resin paper comes in handy for making beads, art charms, and a number of other cool innovations to kick your mixed media jewelry making designs, up a notch! Something I just wanted to mention. Evidently, someone feels that the stamp I resined over is worth a bit of change. I didn't think so as it was canceled but I don't know anything about collecting stamps. My detective's radar should have gone up, and I should have removed it and put aside until I could find out more. That's RESPONSIBLE REPURPOSING....and I failed big time on that one. I'm all about not cutting up old jewelry til you know what you have...well...that applies to other things, too. I mentioned not to just randomly tear down old books, but I messed up with the stamp. I have a packet of old postcards still and they are not the sort of postcards that are worth much. But the stamps....just didn't think hard enough on that.
