Crossing the Nullarbor in our van turned out to be more than the long boring drive we were expecting. We were travelling across the Nullarbor from Esperance to Streaky Bay in South Australia and given its nickname of Nullarboring, we weren't expecting much more than fuel stops on the Nullarbor... But our Nullarbor road trip gave us some fantastic surprises. This part of Western Australia still has signs of the past mining industry to explore and the Great Australian Bight which is a safe haven for whales and their calls. It was a long drive but crossing the Nullarbor was a great experience!
