As an experiment, I built an ultralight 5" drone using the X-Knigh5 frame. Here's how that project went... I don't actually recommend this formula right now. I think my 2204 motors are too heavy for this skinny frame. I later built the 4-inch version of the X-Knight, and it was WAY better. Like so much better it's kind of ridiculous! So stay tuned, I'll have a video about the X-Knight4 soon. If I build another ultralight 5" drone, it will probably use the TWIG ET5 frame by Racer X FPV, because it does support the smaller motor sizes (15xx and 16xx) which could help get the weight down even more.
