Bissell Plus 3550 Upright Vacuum (The First Gen Lift Off)

This is a Bissell Plus model 3550 upright vacuum, (which I believe to be from the mid 90s) that I bought from Facebook Marketplace since this was a rare vacuum that doesn't pop up too often. This was one of the first Bissell uprights to feature the lift off technology where the body of the vacuum lifts away from the back spine and you can carry the motor unit with you for above floor cleaning, car detailing, or cleaning on stairs. This came with all of the attachments for the most part, and I recently put a fresh new set of filters as well as an aftermarket Hoover Type Y HEPA cloth bag, though I still need to find a belt for it, which this takes a different style belt compared ot the later Bissell uprights (a style 1-4 belt to be exact). This features a 9 amp suction motor with clean air design and a 2 amp brush roll motor giving it a total of 11 amp power draw. The suction is good, the airflow is good as well (a lot better than expected), and the agitation is very good on it as well. My complaint about this machine is how awkwardly mounded all of the tools are, and how the hose bellows out towards the back not allowing the vacuum to lay flat, but this is still a very great vacuum, and it's arguably better than their later versions.
