MAJA DEKLEVA LAPAJNE and NORBERT SVEN FÖ Maja and Norbert are performing artists, originally from a not-anymore-existing country of Yugoslavia. Based in Slovenia and all over Europe, they have worked together in many different contexts, from contemporary dance, clown theatre and music making to co-teaching, working with peer support groups and writing. They cooperate in a performative and writing practice called Life. Refabricated., where their main focus, passion, frustration and field of research is artistic improvisation. Life. Refabricated. started out as observation and exploration of the meeting points between theatre and dance improvisation. Throughout the years, Life. Refabricated. developed its own unique world – a peculiar poetic mixture of co-creation, dance, theatre, music, clowning, voicing, swift shifts of performing styles, playing with objects, space and light, site-specific approach, physicality, language, sensoric awarness, non-frontal staging, context-based approach, reprocessing of life, methods of transformation of the personal into stage material and playful inclusive relation with the public. Refabricated. inhabits various forms and is often framed as a performance, sometimes as a discussion, occasionally as a workshop, every once in a while as a performative installation, at other times as writing, and every now and then it comes to life within formats that have not yet been named. https://refabricated.life/ Norbert Sven Fö is a member of DISCOllective, researching playfulness and kinesthetic-physical intelligence as dancer, performer, choreographer, clown, teacher, writer, producer in formats like performance, installation, happening, clown act, publication, workshop, lecture. He speaks seven languages (learning the eighth one) and enjoys eating, while being nomadically based all over Europe. Maja Dekleva Lapajne is a director and a performer from Ljubljana. Her current projects include: Underwater, a performative concert on motherhood and precarious life; 4play, a performance by Mary Shelley’s Mothers, focusing on the topic of sex through feministic standpoints; Silver Gold, a project where different dance generations meet, exchange memories and create new ones; Za crknt, an exploration of contemporary clown and cabaret formats; On the Ground, a concert performance on exhaustion and resistance within late capitalism; Dragi Drago!, a drag king cabaret; Life.
