They are the tanks of whatever ecosystems they inhabit and are among some of the largest land animals on earth today. However, their history is largely unknown by many people. What many don’t realize is a large portion of that history took place in North America! Today there are five extant species of Rhino, and all live in either Africa or Asia. So it’s not surprising that not many people know this story. But the truth is up until about 4.5 million years ago, they actually were a common site across America as well! And I find these animals so fascinating that I have been looking for the opportunity to tell you all! And then my friend gave me that opportunity! I have recently been on one of the most amazing adventures of my entire life! I traveled across the United States, visited 23 museums, went on a dig, and got to see so many other content creators! And I ended up stopping to see Clint from @clintsreptiles and he wanted to make some videos! We ended up settling on talking about the rhinos of North America! We made the first video on his channel but I also had to make one to be a companion piece to that! So definitely go check out that one after you watch the History of North American Rhinos!
