This week we take another look at a cannabis vape cart, this time a distillate! The strain: Master Kush by Verano, aka Mother Grows Best out of Canton, Ohio. Product Name: Master Kush Brand Name: Verano Ohio Cultivator: Mother Grows Best in Canton, OH Type: Indica Distillate Extraction: Ethanol Extraction Total THC: 344.5mg Total CBD: 138.5mg Mom's Chili Rice Recipe: She got this off the back of a Minute Rice box. My wife and I have modded it over the years. This is the modded version. Ingredients: 1 lb lean ground beef (or meat substitute) 1 chopped onion 1 green pepper, diced 1 15 ounce can whole kernel corn 1 15 ounce can tomato sauce 2-4 tablespoons of chili powder, depending on spice preferences Dash of dried mustard 1 cup (or can) of water 1 cup easy-cook white or brown rice .5 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese substitute) Other Add-Ins: 1 15 ounce can of black beans (if you want more fiber) 1 15 ounce can Stewed Tomatoes or Diced Tomatoes 1 tsp cumin Dash of cayenne (if you like things hot) Directions: Brown the ground beef, chopped onion and diced green peppers together. Once browned, add in chili powder, spices or add-ins, dried mustard, corn, tomato sauce, and a can of water. Bring this mixture to a boil and then add the easy-cook rice. Reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the rice is thoroughly cooked and tender. Once ready, simply sprinkle the cheese over top until melted and serve. Once the meal is cooked, you can also place it into an oven, sprinkle with cheese, and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. But who wants to wait that long!? Enjoy!
