Join me in celebrating my beautiful patient Samantha’s 1 year anniversary this week! We’ve shared Samantha’s rhinoplasty journey over the past year and now that we are a full 12 months post-op, she’s returned to share how her life-changing NoseTune® Septorhinoplasty has improved her life. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐞: NoseTune® Septorhinoplasty 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬: Before & After One Year 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬: De-project, Straighten Nasal Bridge, and to help her breathe 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐨𝐧'𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞: In Samantha's case, which is quite common, I used cartilage that comes from her very own septum to support and strengthen her tip so that now the tip does not drop down now when she smiles. I also placed graphs to support the nostril margins so that the nostril margins have a beautiful configuration to them and now they don't collapse when breathing during physical activities. Her septum was quite deviated and I was able to straighten that to improve the appearance as well as open her airways. As an ENT and Facial Plastic Surgeon, the combination of the functional aspect or the breathing component and the aesthetic aspect is the most common thing that I do for my surgical patients. And, yes, I love making beautiful noses. I love seeing all the before and after results, that’s always great to see, but the look I see in my post-op patient’s eyes as they breathe through their nose for the first time - often after suffering with poor breathing ability for years and sometimes even for the first time in their life - that truly never gets old for me.
