A small truck TAM 100T8 for large construction projects

At the end of the 1980s, a new series of smaller trucks, with a maximum permissible weight of 6 and 8 tons, began to be produced at TAM in Maribor. These were supposed to replace the already very old "Tamič", which had been produced since the beginning of the sixties. The newcomer was much more modern, but did not experience major sales success, as the factory was already on the decline and went bankrupt in 1996. After more than 30 years, here and there an individual vehicle of this type can be seen, and we recently drove one. Today in Maribor buses are manufactured under the TAM-Europe brand - from city buses and coaches to airport buses and from diesel to electric buses.
