Best Mint Ice Cream Recipe 🍃 + 2 Delicious Milkshakes 🍫🍌 #icecream From fresh mint leaves to rich dark chocolate — this is the ultimate Homemade Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream 🍃🍫 In this video, I show how to make the creamiest mint ice cream with real hierbabuena, then blend it into a Milka Mint Shake, and finish with a silky Banana Mint Azahar Shake.Refreshing, creamy, and pure dessert heaven. ✨ 🍨 Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream (1,350 ml) Ingredients Milk – 850 ml Heavy cream (30–35%) – 500 ml Sugar – 160 g Invert syrup – 50 g Dextrose – 20 g Egg yolks – 5 Fresh mint (menta or hierbabuena) – 25–30 g Dark chocolate (60–70%) – 100 g (cut into 0.5–1 cm chunks) Agar-agar – 2 g (optional) Preparation Mint infusion: Combine milk and cream in a saucepan.Heat almost to a boil, then add mint leaves.Cover and let steep for 20–30 minutes.Strain and discard the leaves. Custard base: Whisk egg yolks with sugar and dextrose until light and fluffy.Slowly pour in the warm mint-infused milk while stirring constantly.Return to the saucepan and cook gently over low heat, stirring, until slightly thickened (82–85 °C). Do not boil. Adding agar and invert syrup: 1. In a small pan, mix agar with 2–3 tbsp milk or water and let it bloom for 5–10 minutes. 2. Heat this agar mixture to 85–90 °C, stirring until fully dissolved. 3. When the main custard mixture cools to about 75 °C, pour in the hot agar solution while stirring. 4. Add the invert syrup and mix well until smooth. Cooling and maturation: Immediately place the bowl with the hot base into an ice-water bath to cool it quickly to 30 °C, stirring gently. Once cooled, cover and refrigerate for 6 hours to mature. Churning:Pour the chilled base into your ice cream maker and churn for about 30 minutes.Add chopped dark chocolate 5–10 minutes before the end so it distributes evenly without melting.
