This video is a how-to account of how I installed this attic access roof hatch on my roof. I needed to get up in the attic to install a new ductless heat pump, and solar light tube along with upgrading the insulation. I have natural wood cathedral ceilings and there was no good place to install an access hatch inside of my house. The new attic roof hatch was the best option for my situation. I hope all you do-it-yourselfers that watch this video get some enjoyment and maybe you might pick up a couple tricks along the way. Good luck with your nest project. Uncle Gary Hi, I want to give you a little information about myself, Uncle Gary. I am a true Jack-of-all-trades in building, remodeling, gardening, and homesteading. At an early age, before high school graduation, there wasn’t much that I didn’t try, just to see if I could.
