Every tierlist I see just talks about the META for keys 99% of us will never do, and I figured with my recent experience of doing all the +10 keys on every single Tank spec, I may as well offer my opinion on where each Tank stands. We grade the tanks based on a few factors: Rotational Complexity How easy is it to do your rotation while maintaining your active mitigation? Survivability How easy is it to live some of the harder pulls and boss fights? Self sustain How easy is it to not have to beg your healer for help? Grouping Pulls How easy is it to group up large pulls into death balls? Particularly when there are caster or marksman mobs. Carry Potential How easy is it to pick up your group's slack? Be it DPS, HPS, CC or Interrupts. Fun How much fun is it to play? Less influential on the tierlist, as it's very subjective.
