Howdy this is the COMPLETE build video of the DW HOBBY Rainbow Flying Wing V1 bought from Banggood.com here http://bit.lc/3Vdr. As you can tell from the video above, I love flying wings and this one when flown with a light 2S setup is brillant fun. It glides forever and you can do pretty anything with her. Happy days! The maiden of this new wing will be up on YouTube in a couple of days, I need the weather to calm down a bit first here in the UK. MODEL: DW HOBBY Rainbow 800mm Wingspan EPP Flying Wing RC Airplane KIT http://bit.lc/3Vdr HOT GLUE GUN: This little glue gun is brilliant! It's super cheap and takes 7.1mm glue sticks: https://goo.gl/bFPRqU SERVO TESTER: If you don't have one of these, they come in super handy to check on servos before putting them into your models and of course centering them too https://goo.gl/sa0hPw CONTROL HORNS: As mentioned in the build video of the flying wing, the control horns that come with the model aren't really any good, so instead I used these ones https://goo.gl/ogkRhV which are miles, miles better. CARBON FIBER RODS: I get through soooo much of this stuff in my models https://goo.gl/M4fwxP. One small slit with the craft knife, run an end of the rod through, add glue and push in the length of the carbon rod or instant, lightweight support. CRAFT KNIFE SET: I can't remember where I got my knife set from, but this set https://goo.gl/S2p3Yc is similar. BLUE LOCKTITE: The threadlock comes in two forms, red & blue. Red is permanent and the blue stuff is semi-permanent so you stand a chance of getting the screw back out later. So you want the blue stuff! MOTOR: I use this motor in my baby bonsai flying wing and it's proven to be able to take a complete beating over time https://goo.gl/NDSqsI. It's designed for 2S batteries (which is perfect for this flying wing), I have run it on 3S for say 40 flights and while it still works, it's showing signs that I have pushed it too hard. So keep it to 2S batteries unless you're prepared to treat motors as consumables ;-) PROP ADAPTER: The prop saver that comes with the EMAX CF2812 motor is pants, I've never broken a prop yet with a flying wing, so with that in mind grab one of these https://goo.gl/ODsWgp for about a quid ($2 USD) SERVOS: I use the TowerPro MG90S servos in all my smaller models and they ROCK! They're cheaper than the cheap HobbyKing plastic geared ones. They have more torque and have metal gears https://goo.gl/6M7XDR Note: See this video for more details    • Metal Geared Servos, Cheaper than HobbyKin...   about the Tower Pro servos. RECEIVER: I'm using FrSKY, so using a V8R4-II receiver https://goo.gl/PZZNvT is a no-brainer because it's light, cheap and has 4 channels. We only need 3 for this model, so a great choice. TRANSMITTER: Always the Taranis https://goo.gl/3BRI0s, by far the best transmitter around for the money. If you're on a budget, then this one https://goo.gl/FCBQw7 (FlySky FS-i6) is miles cheaper and basically does the same thing. FPV AIO CAMERA: If you'd like to fly this wing FPV stlyeeee! Then the Eachine MC01 is a brilliant little camera to use https://goo.gl/amyuOW. Note: Do not go for the Eachine MC02 AIO FPV camera, see this video for why    • BAD REVIEW Eachine MC02 AIO VERY Poor Ligh...   SUGGESTED BATTERY: I'm using a 2s 1000mAh Zippy pack because thats what I have loads of, but to be honest it's a bit big for the model.
