I used the Hardened Power System's Anderson AutoGrip dual connector block to add PowerPole connectors to the back-plane of my SAMLEX SEC-1235M power supply ... this supply comes with RED-BLACK screw-down connectors, and those terminals don't fit with any of my Ham Radio equipment power cords ... I cut the AutoGrip in half to reduce how far it sticks out from the back-plane, then painted the plastic AutoGrip black ... I chose to mount it on the outside of the back-plane rather than the inside so as not to block access to the cooling fan's power connector ... next came inserting the dual PowerPoles into the AutoGrip, then mounting the AutoGrip into the hole I had cut & nibbled into the SEC-1235M's back-plane ... I connected the PowerPoles to the inside of the 2 screw-down connector terminals, and it was done ... I also made the mod that enables the cooling fan to run continuously ... see the AD5X review & mods of this Power Supply here: ad5x.com/images/presentations/sec1235m%20r... The Anderson AutoGrips can be found here: portableuniversalpower.com/anderson-autogrip/ I have no connection to this company ... I'm a satisfied user of the Anderson AutoGrip product ... 73, Wey - K8EAB Metro Atlanta, GA qrz.com/db/k8eab ps: I returned from FS/K8EAB on 2/10/2016 ... I used this power supply to work 3,010 contacts from 78 DXCC entities, 30 Zones, 48 states, and 6 Continents ... the SEC-1235M is a great DXpedition Duty Cycle Power Supply ...
