Welcome to my Montessori 101 series! Here I explain the basic principles of Maria Montessori and how you can apply them easily into your home! I am so excited to talk about curiosity in children and how to foster curiosity and discovery in kids. Curiosity is so important for a child's learning and growth. There are many ways for a child to learn and learning through play is important. In this video, I talk about following the child, going at child's pace, and "help me help myself" a very common Montessori phrase. It so important to observe the child and create activities around their interests. I share some examples of how I do this in my home and encourage you to share down below as well!
