Omni Arena - Gunslinger Outlaw Shootout - DrockTalk and Friends Try Virtuix Omni for the First Time

Some friends and I traveled to the nearest Omni Arena to give Virtuix Omni a try, which is a VR treadmill that I've been watching closely for years. It's finally available for home consumers, so I wanted to test drive one. This is the very first game that we tried out of 4 sessions, so I'm brand spanking new to walking in VR in this video. For the first few minutes my Omni was picking up my forward steps as lateral movement, so I had to crabwalk through the game. Eventually it resolved itself and we were able to kick some rootin, tootin, cowboy butt! I had a blast, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. The price tag is a little bit steep for the technical issues that I had, so I wonder if the new models are a bit more reliable, or if I just had issues because the machine is worn out from being used by the general public in an arcade.
