New for 2019, the playful Malibu 9.5 and 11.5 designs boast easy paddling and good tracking. Lily told us the 9.5 and 11.5 are actually updated versions of Ocean Kayak's Frenzy and the Scrambler, respectively. New features include newly designed molded-in footwells, three cup holders and a splash-resistant QuickStash dry hatch conveniently placed in front of the paddler. The two new Malibus also feature toggle handles at bow and stern and molded-in side handles, as well as a YakLock locking bar at the stern for secure storage. Both models feature an updated seat design, improving on the previous generation's vinyl clip-on seat with a comfortable AirGo fabric seat pad with adjustable AirComfort backrest. The soft seat can also fold back for easy stacking. We anticipate that easy stacking will be especially attractive for outfitting operations.
